Yannick DENIS received his degree in Architecture from the Ecole Nationale des Arts et Industries of Strasbourg in 1999. As a student, his project for Chalons Vatry airport, was awarded top prize in competition of l’Office Technique pour l’Utilisation de l’Acier. His early professional experience included work in Bordeaux with Luc Arsène Henry Junior and Alain Triaud Architectes Associés for the design of an office and assembly building for Falcon 7X aircraft for Dessault Aviation. He joined Valode & Pistre Architectes in 2004, working as project architect on a complex renovation of an existing high rise office structure in the La Defense business district of Paris, and later collaborated on the construction of the T1 tower in La Defense.
In 2006 he became project architect in charge of site supervision, working on a high rise project in La Defense, as well as the Technopole project for Bouygues Telecom in Meudon. In 2011 he assumed the direction of Studio 1 within Valode & Pistre Architectes, and oversaw the construction of Le Grande Stade de Lille and the new Hospital of Lorient.
He became an associate at Valode & Pistre in 2012.
